About Art New Media
Art New Media is a new program in the Art Department at American River College. The emphasis of this program is on the visual arts produced in a digital environment. While all new media are intimately linked to new technology, it is essential for a designer or artist to have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of visual art. Students may choose to complete the degree program and/or a certificate program. In addition to the AA degree option in Art New Media, we offer four Certificates.
