The American River College Summer Jazz Ensemble Reading Workshop will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 from 1-6pm in the ARC Band Room (Music 513). This is a free event and there will be pizza at the end!
This worhshop is open to jazz musicians of all levels and is designed to aid in the development of sight-reading skills in the jazz idiom. The ensemble will read numerous charts, focusing on strategies to increase reading accuracy. Keep your chops up over the Summer!
Participants under 18 years of age must fill out a permission form and have it signed by a parent or legal guardian.
