Methods. This is a lecture course. It is critical that you are attentive, engaged, and develop good note taking habits (3-4 pages of notes per lecture). Since class lecture constitutes the basic examination material (along with the assigned reading) please discuss with me any frustrations you might have about note taking. I will be happy to suggest a number of ways to improve your active listening and note taking skills, and how best to prepare for exams and quizzes. Since essay writing is an important component of the course, we will also focus on how to improve your critical writing skills. Back to Top of Page
