We are no longer taking submissions for the April 2006 meeting in Redding.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES BEFORE COMPLETING THIS FORM

•All presenters MUST register for (and attend) the annual conference. <see www.calgeog.org for details>
•Registration fees (not membership fees) are waived for student presenters.
•You must complete a separate form for each presentation.
•Students who wish to be considered for an award should carefully review the guidelines for presenters. <see www.calgeog.org for details>
•Students who wish to have posters and/or maps considered for an award must make themselves available to judges at some point during judging (details TBA)
•It is recommended that you first prepare your title and abstract in a word processing program, then copy and paste it into the appropriate spaces below.
•You must have an email address to successfully fill out this form.  If this is a problem, contact the phone number at the bottom of the form.

***IMPORTANT Notes on use of digital and other media***

  • Slide, overhead transparency, and digital projectors (compatible with standard formats) will be provided by CGS. 

  • You must make arrangements to bring or borrow a laptop computer if needed - CGS will not be providing computers

  • Access to the Internet is not normally an option during presentations, though you may contact conference coordinator Dan Scollon <dscollon@shastacollege.edu> directly if it is absolutely required for your presentation.

  • You are expected to familiarize yourself with all hardware and software before presenting. 

  • You are strongly encouraged to bring backups and hard copies (transparencies) for all digital media. 

  • White boards will not be available.
