I definitly agree with your feeling about the emotion. The play gave a little more backround and information into Mrs. Hale. It gave some insight into who she is as a person. The play started at a time before the story did and it was able to give more backround information. I definitly thing the play had a lot more small, but important details to give you more of a feel like you were really in the Wright's house.
