The story does in fact get into the inner thoughts of the characters more. It has to because we do not get to view the characters and see how they act and interact. Knowing about Minnie Foster does give a little twist and wonder into Mrs. Wrights character and what happened to her. The titles do show a significance in the meaning of the stories. I liked you idea that Trifles focused more on women's significance then on the actual crime itself.
