I totally agree with you! When listening to the play, my emotions were instantly engaged. I also seemed to listen more intently for those sounds or indicators of what was going on.I felt anticipation and curiousity. I liked the reading flow of the short story better than the written play. At first I liked the descriptions of what the characters were doing or sounding like but then it seemed to interrupt the story flow.
