I absolutely agree with your view on the family persevering in the end in face of extreme obstacles and oppression. I think that it never was really about the money in the first place, but that it acted to springboard them into a situation where they would be confronted with harsh reality and their dreams. The eventual choice of the new life was in fact, I believe, just the first of many dreams the family achieved now that they have a determination that is beyond childhood dreaming. Great work.
