I agree with you about Edna and Adele. Adele does seem afrid to become to independent and Edna doe snot care about authority. Edna also has more time to herself since her husband travels frequently. With Robert, however, I do not see him as a world traveler because he only went to Mexico. I see him as a young man that doesn't have anywhere to call home and knows his place in society.
