I agree with your opinion about the Seneca Falls Declaration of Sentiments . I think that The Seneca Falls Declaration of Sentiments helps the reader to better understand why Edna decided to swim "where no woman has swum before." Edna's success at learning how to swim also symbolizes her desire to rebel against social rules.
