After reading the elements I noticed rhyming throughout this poem. The last word in every other line rhymes. It creates a certain beat to the poem and each word that rhymes seems to relate to one another in some way. That could also be connotation throughout the poem as well because before I thought that waltzing might be a way of saying that there was abuse. Connotation shows that there is a hidden meaning just as the waltzing may be hiding something.
