After reading the elements of poetry I was much more aware of the writers tools. I still enjoyed this poem, yet I found myself dissecting it. Looking for the elements I had now seen highlighted in green hue. I do not think I would ever be able to point out those elements in this reading without knowing them. In this poem it did not enhance my reading of it. I thought it would, but it did not.
