This course is an introduction to computer based design using Adobe Photoshop CS3. The course is based on weekly class modules that introduce design skills as well as the technical skills associated with Photoshop software. Exercises, tutorials and five major projects will be completed during the semester.

The class will introduce the basic skills of photo correction, selections, blending and image modification. These skills, along with design skills, will be applied to a series of projects. Your interface with the class is Blackboard which you will have access to when you enroll in the class. Blackboard is your online "portal" for accessing the schedule, galleries of student work, quizzes and communication tools. We will use e-mail, announcements and discussion boards to stay connected and informed about class activities.
