- Colors next to each other on the color wheel (adjacent primary and tertiary or primary, secondary, and tertiary would be analgous color palettes)
Complementary - Two colors of maximum contrast that are opposites on the color wheel.
Monochrome - One color plus its shades and tints.
Neutral - Color mixed with equal amounts of complementary colors thus producing dull neutral color.
Tint - Color mixed with white

Shade - Color mixed with black

Triadic color scheme - Color palette made up of the three primary colors or three secondary colors.
