ARC Symphony Orchestra

The Symphony Orchestra consists of about 75 instrumentalists from many walks of life. They are doctors, lawyers, psychologists, authors, teachers, business executives, students, domestic engineers, retired professionals, but mostly, they are just people who love orchestral music and music making. They rehearse one night a week, Wednesday, from 7PM to 9:30PM at the American River College Music Department facilities.

The fall season begins rehearsals in August for a Fall Concert and other off campus concert venues. The fall semester concludes with a Winter Concert in early December. The spring semester begins in middle January and continues to May with a final concert.
