Course Format
ARC offers Statistics 301 in two modalities: lecture and
hybrid.
Lecture. Instruction
in these classes includes usage of calculators to perform statistical
operations. Some instructors also require use of computers and statistical software
(the type of calculator or software package used will vary from instructor to
instructor). Computers are available to students in the
Hybrid. Two-thirds of
the course is online; students also meet with the instructor once a week, on
average. This gives students personal contact with the instructor, to make sure
they understand key concepts. Besides the main campus, the hybrid course
is also offered as a late-start class through ARC's
