This week we are going take a field trip to a popular web site for seniors.

Using the resource list in the back of the text (starting on pg.423) locate an appropriate agency or interest group to analyze.

At the discussion board

1. Put the name of the agency in your subject line (one point deducted for this omission). No site can be used more than twice so check what has been posted first.

2. Describe the agency and the contents of their web site. What do they offer? Include their intent and/or purpose and where they get their funding?

3. Now, evaluate the agency or group's intent and purpose. Include any aging theories you can relate to their work . You can use the index of your text for this.  For example, if I were evaluating Hospice Foundation I might relate it to the "good death" theory discussed in the text.
