Semester Planner
Find the semester planner in your Electronic handout packet. It can help you stay on top of
your assignments in all classes and release some of the common feelings of being
stress that most students experience.
If you have 5 assignments due this week and you thought about them
separate 5 times during this week then you would have had 25 things rolling around in your head to increase your stress
level. Instead use the semester planner to jot down your assignments and due
dates.
Start by making the page into a semester calendar. Jot down the names of the
months down the left hand side and the dates in the small boxes. Then, each time
you find a test, quiz, paper or due date in any class, jot it down on the
planner. For example look for the due date of the FINAL Research Posting in this class and
note (Soc. 374/or Gero. 300 FINAL Research due) on the appropriate date.
You will then have a visual week-by-week of not only what is due
but the date it is due also.
