Paul, I agree with you that opening in Mrs. Hale's kitchen is much more positive than that of old boring Mrs. Wright. It’s amazing how a little thing like kitchen's can make a reader happy but its true. Also in your last sentence do you have Mrs. Hale in place of Mrs. Wright? I am sure that is what you meant since a few sentences up you say Mrs. Hale pays attention to minor details. It gets confusing with the names and places but keep up the good work. Good Luck!
