I would have loved to have seen this acted out one of two ways as I said in my initial answer to the question, either really well or really over the top and almost like a bad movie. The play was written in a matter that the feelings of the characters were easily identifiable and when I read the short story I felt I was reading more of the same thing. I really didnt feel I found out anything new in the short story as to what the characters positions on Mrs. Wright were. Even though the short story gave more direct insight I believe the play gave the same insight in a very unique way and was more readable the the typical play was even though the short story was an easier read as far as it being more direct
