“A Raisin in the Sun” By Harlem relates to the poem, “ by Langston Hughes” This poem is write by expressions, feelings and imagination that relates to the Young family. Mama Lena dreams to have a house with a garden, Walter her son dreams to be a business man, because he is tired of being a chuffer and Beneatha dreams on becoming a doctor and Walter’s wife Ruth wants to get hell out of the apartment and in a house that’s her big dream. in the poem said “ does it stink like rotten meat” Langston Hughes, it means in the play that their dreams are going away. The young family have many dreams. They hoping to accomplished their dreams with they get the money that they have been waiting for months. Walter’s biggest dream is in invest in a liquor store. Finally the check arrived in the mail. Mama she knows what she wants to buy. Walter trust one of his friends and he steals their money. Willie, “Or fester like a sore and then run”, “by Langston Hughes”. The Young dreams explodes is the end. “ like a heavy load” by Langston Hughes. Do poverty has to be this way with the Young family? that they never accomplish their dreams. “ Like a raisin in the sun” by Harlem.
