I agree with you about Edna and Adele they were total different woman. Adele was a typical housewife dedicated to her hushband and children and Edna was different I think marriage was not for her she wanted to be independent. Mr. Pontellier was a man of society and Robert was more young, I think he was working his way to have what other men had power and money but they did have something in common they both love the same woman.
