Right off I noticed how the poem is seperated into three sections. Each section describes something different. Firts, the man lover is talking about how if he had all the time in the world, he would spend much of it gazing and adoring his mistress. Then, he speaks of how death looms near and they will no longer be beautiful. He is fairly sure there is no lovemaking once dead. Then, in the third section he talks about "seizing the day" and finally giving into fleshly desires whil they still have time.
