Yes, reading the elements does point out things that you may have skimmed over previously. I noticed that when reading this poem. The tone was defintily noticed the second time around because I was looking for it. The alliterations used did make the poem more interesting and gave it more detail. Just reading all the elements help to decode the poem while you're reading it.
