Please note the online Business Communications course for Fall 2009 (section 31300) meets three times during the eight week session. 

The schedule is as follows:

Course Description
This course focuses on the concepts, strategies, and principles of effective communication in business situations. Tools to communicate effectively in a fast-paced technological, global marketplace are emphasized. The course provides opportunities to create, edit, evaluate, and critique business documents and reports. A formal research paper using analytical skills, graphics, and the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations is required. An oral business presentation with visuals is prepared and delivered.

Fall Orientation Information
Orientation for this Online BUS 310 course will be held on Monday, October 19.

Students officially enrolled will be automatically enrolled in D2L.  Students must attend the orientation.  Students on the roster who do not attend the orientation will be dropped from the course.  No exceptions are granted.

Students on the wait list who are interested in enrolling must attend orientation in order to receive a permission number.  Additional instructions will be provided at the orientation.

Students Unable to Register for the Online Section
If you find that the roster and waiting lists are full for both sections, try registering every few days as students will drop off both the class and waiting lists.  If that does not work, you must attend the orientation in order to be considered.  If spaces are still available after all enrolled and wait listed students are registered, then I will let you know if any space is available.

Enrollment procedures will be handled at the beginning of the orientation.  If you are late, you may be dropped from the course.
