Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) 1. I missed a quiz because I had a flat tire /
my sitter was late / my alarm didnt go off / etc.
Can I make up the quiz? No. This is the exact reason I drop 3 quizzes. 2. But what if I do poorly on 3 other quizzes
that I want dropped? Then
I wont be able to drop those! Is this really a question? But to address this issue, as I mentioned above, this is the EXACT reason I drop the quizzes. So you still cant make up the quiz. 3. Our schedules conflict! What am I supposed to do to get help in your class? This is what the Oak Tree Center (Room 132) is for. Their hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the summer. They are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 4. Where is your office / the MMLC / Oak Tree? My office is in Howard Hall Room 163 (near Raef Hall), the MMLC is in Room 135 and the Oak Tree Center is in Room 132. If you dont know where this is, please refer to a campus map. 5. What is my current grade? Log in to Blackboard and you can check your grade up to that point. 6. I have to leave your class early/get to
class late because of work and you give your quizzes at the
beginning/end of class. What
should I do? I would suggest that you miss no more than 3 quizzes. If this is not possible, then I could recommend dropping this class and perhaps taking another class that does not conflict with your schedule.
