About Your Resume
Your resume is a crucial document to find a job. There are different kinds
of resumes, which you should know about. The content is mostly the same but
the format of the resume can be different:
Every resume you send out needs to be:
- spell checked
- clean
- updated
- easy to read and understand
- well structured by using headings like "education", "technical
skills" and by using lists.
- clear in content
- edited for different jobs: The objective is usually the place where you
can address directly what your interest is. This interest should reflect the
description of the job you are applying to.

ACCII
A resume converted into a text only format based on
a word processed and formatted resume.
You create an ACCII by saving your existing word resume as a text only file
(txt) .
It can be pasted directly into an email without being distorted when it arrives
at the destination mailbox. The best way to check is to save a word document
as a .txt file, and copy /paste it into an email. Send this email to yourself
to see if the text looks still clean.
An ACCII resume has no formatting tags and looks very blank.
