Is It Ever OK to End Life?

Free forum to express your educated opinions. Remember to back up your statements with what you have learned in class by using class theory and materials. If its a WAG and not a SWAG then tell us.  

1. After reading the text and lecture answer the following questions:

• Based on what you have learned and your own values is it ever o.k. to end life? Why? Why not?  Back up your opinion with your education-- what you have learned in class . Cite your statements.
  
• Do you think that old people might approach the decision to end life in a different way than younger people typically would?  How?  Why?  Give some examples here.
  
• What social or psychological factors do you think might come into play when seniors are considering end of life issues?
