BUSTEC 110 - Procedures for Business Professionals

Course Meetings:
This course does require your attendance at a mandatory session for final presentation. 
This session will be held on October 10 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in Liberal Arts room 128 on the main campus. Students unable to attend this session, should enroll during a different session.

Course Description:
This course provides preparation for the business professional in electronic workplaces. Topics include business communication, records management, and preparation of business documents. Critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, supervision skills, administrative procedures, and information processing technologies are used to complete assignments and activities as a business professional. These skills provide the background for advancement to supervisory and management positions. Primary emphasis is on processing documents using skills in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, database, and email. Career planning and development are addressed.
 

Fall Orientation Information
Orientation for this Online BUSTEC 110 course will be announced in D2L one week prior to the beginning of the fall session.

Students officially enrolled will be automatically enrolled in D2L.  Additional instructions will be provided in D2L.  Orientation tasks must be completed by the first Tuesday of the session in order to remain enrolled in the course.

Students on the wait list will be contacted on Wednesday of the first week of class.  The notification will include instructions for next steps.

Students Unable to Register for the Online Section
If you find that the roster and waiting lists are full for both sections, try registering every few days as students will drop off both the class and waiting lists.  If that does not work, send me an email on the first Wednesday of a semester and I will let you know if any space is available.
