First Step
Schedule an
appointment
with your DSPS Counselor or DSPS Instructional Assistant
in the Learning Disabilities Area, to discuss testing
accommodations at 916-484-8382.
Prepare
a separate Proctor Form for each class, during the first week of each semester, before exams.
The Proctor Form is a contract between the student, Professor, and
DSPS Testing Services.
Second Step
After
proctor forms are completed, schedule a test room a week before the exam date. No Drop-Ins.
Notify your Professor
of your test appointment.
Directions for Receipt and Delivery of exam
are stated on the Proctor Form. DSPS does not deliver
exams.
Third Step
Start
exam promptly at scheduled time. (This is not a time for study or
further review.)
Repeat
no-shows, or cancellations are not allowed.
This is a good time to learn scheduling skills.
Habitual late students are subject to dismissal of service.

Important

Cheating,
consistent
lateness
or no-shows
qualify for dismissal of DSPS Testing Services.
We
average 2,000 exams per fall and
spring semester.
There
are six DSPS academic test rooms.
Must
acquire a Proctor Form from DSPS Counselor before taking
exams. No Drop-Ins.
All
DSPS Students are expected to schedule exams one
week in advance.
Finals
are in group rooms of seven students, with the exception
of students needing a scribe, reader, or
computer.

are in each room and lobby. Unethical behavior equals
confiscation of exam and services will be discontinued, until
further notice by your DSPS Counselor.
