Activities

Unit 31:   July 8 - 17

This page includes  the activities associated with our fourth unit of the course.  The next week or so, we will devote to study and discussion of The Awakening.  2 journals (5) and two discussions will be due as well as the essay.  Read these assignments very carefully!  There are deadlines, and no late work will be accepted. You'll want to finish reading The Awakening if you have not, as the rest of the activities relate to the text and Essay Four.  Your best bet is to read through all of these instructions and then plan your time.
Please take note of due dates!

Optional Essay 4 Rough Drafts and Peer Reviews

Please note: Rough Drafts and Peer Reviews are optional.  Although the class ends on Thursday, July 14, I have decided to give you until Sunday, July 17, to submit Essay 4.  However, some of you may have vacation plans, etc. and prefer to submit the Final Draft on Thursday, July 14.  If this is your preference, you will not be able to fit in a Peer review session.  On the other hand, some of you may appreciate the opportunity to have your essay reviewed by your peers.  Therefore, I have decided to make peer reviews optional.  If you decide to participate in the review session, please observe the following dates and times, so that everyone who wants reviews gets them.  Whether you choose to participate in the peer review process or not, the deadline for Essay 4 is Sunday, July 17.
